It's that time again...  To celebrate the start of hockey season, this episode of HtD is almost entirely devoted to the NHL.  (There's still a little bit of ball hockey.  It's right there in the name, after all.)  Anywho, the League will feature some pretty sweet alternate jerseys this year.  Quack.  Plus, Disney is giving you a Fastpass to watch games just about anywhere.  And why isn't the Stanley Cup ten feet tall by now?  Funny you should ask.

This week we make some predictions about the coming NHL season, but that's not why you're here.  You're here for GRITTY.  We may or may not debate what kind of God would allow such a creature to roam the Earth unchecked.

There's also some stuff about injuries in "meaningless" games, digital Spider heroes, and giant robot cars that ruled our childhood.  This one got a little wild.  There's a lot here to unpack.

Toys 'R Us may be gone (RIP) but we still don't want to grow up!  This week Gary is using his brand new LEGO Voltron as a jumping off point to talk about all kinds of useless Nintendo stuff that saturated his childhood.  Oh, and there's also hockey.  EA just released NHL '19, and it looks fantastic.  Plus, the Arizona Coyotes have done more to grow the game than a desert-locked team has any obligation to.  And the world's largest ice skating facility is finally coming to New York.  Maybe?  Or possibly not.  We'll see.

This one's a little weird at first, but we think you'll like it.  Oh yeah.
